Making the right choice
Co-owned building, outside wall, neighbours: what to check
In a flat, fitting an outdoor unit (outside wall, balcony, roof) usually requires the agreement of the co-owners. Depending on the location, especially on a street-facing wall, planning permission may also be needed: check with your municipality before the work.
The outdoor unit makes some noise when running. We choose a location with you that protects your comfort and your neighbours'.
