Single-line diagram and layout plans: what are they?
The RGIE requires two complementary documents, which the approved body asks for at every inspection.
The single-line diagram
Using standard symbols, it shows how your installation is organised electrically: fuse box, protections, circuits and what they supply.

The layout plans
On a plan of each floor of the home, they show where the electrical equipment is and which circuit each item belongs to.
