Condensing boiler prices: what does the quote depend on?
No two replacements are alike, which is why the price is set by a quote. Here is what the technician looks at in your home, and what changes the amount.

The type of boiler
A combi boiler heats your home and the water at the tap. A boiler with a hot water cylinder keeps a store of hot water. It's not the same appliance, or the same price.

The output
It depends on the size of your home, its insulation and how much hot water you use. A boiler that's too powerful costs more without heating any better.
- 03
The flue
A condensing boiler needs a suitable flue. Depending on your installation, the existing flue can be adapted or has to be replaced.
- 04
The condensate drain
As it condenses, the boiler produces water that has to be connected to a drain. A drain close by takes less work than a new one.
- 05
The location
Keeping the boiler in the same place costs less. Moving it means redoing the gas, water and flue connections.
- 06
The radiators and thermostat
We check that they work with the new boiler. A dirty system may need power flushing before the boiler goes in.
